PASS Online

PASS Online is a 'references on demand application'. It provides the user with instant access to credit reports, ID reports etc and using a very sophisticated subset of activities of the full PASS screening system it significantly reduces the 'hands on' time required to screen a candidate. The software has been designed to minimize the amount of time an operator actually spends screening a candidate.

The candidate may be going through the screening process for one month while referees are requested to respond, but the actual time it takes an operator to complete a candidate' screening is usually less than one hour. This means the operator can get on with other work while PASS Online remembers the key tasks for each candidate and prompts the operator when to chase referees who haven’t responded in appropriate timescales.

PASS Online has been organised to guide the user through the process of:

  • entering the personal details, career history, criminal history, credit history etc. of a new candidate

  • instant credit check, electoral roll, county court judgements, ID check, sanctions check

  • storing the response to these requests in a manner that meets the requirements of a particular standard e.g. BS7858, Dept for Transport, Financial Services Authority

  • Press a button to request your chosen outsourced screening provider to obtain the references for you

  • Producing a finished candidate screening record for the HR file

PASS Online can be tailored very easily to suit the needs of any screening department, company or screening standard, through a series of modifiable fields called Maintenance Tables. These are set for your use when you are given access to PASS Online but can be modified by the System Administrator at any time to suit your changing needs.

In summary PASS Online has been designed to allow the user to reduce costs by obtaining the references they wish and to 'request' a third party to obtain the remainder on their behalf at the click of a mouse.
